Legion Auxiliary contributes to FISH Clothing for Kids Drive – Pine Island Eagle

Pine Island American Legion Auxiliary Unit 136, along with donations from the Legion Post 136, adopted 12 kids for the annual FISH Clothing for Kids Drive. They able to purchase two outfits and one package of underwear for each child. Five Walmart gift cards were also donated for the children to purchase gym shoes.

This program insures K-12 students who live on Pine Island and Matlacha have new outfits for their first day of school this week.

Delivered the bags of clothes to the island children were American Legion Auxiliary Unit 136 Education Chairman Elaine Roberts and FISH clothing drive chair Karen Durand.
